One of Europe’s leading retail finance groups was created following the merger of three significant high street banking names.
Office Depot provided this combined group with all operational print, corporate business stationery, and personalised print (in addition to general office stationery).
Due to the size and market dominance of our client following the merger, the European Commission had concerns about the lack of competition in our client’s marketplace.
To address the concerns, our client announced plans to restructure businesses within the group. The outcome, “Project X”, was announced; the culmination of which would see the creation of multiple brands.
This transition was hugely complex, dealing with a change to legal entity as well as trading style, involving an intricate number of stakeholder and governance processes.
This was one of the biggest compliance and re-brand projects within the banking industry, and after a long and challenging journey Office Depot, in partnership with the group’s programme team, successfully delivered all elements of the project in 2013.
Each element of the project was fulfilled within agreed timelines and to pre-defined quality and budgetary boundaries. No deadlines were missed and positive feedback was received throughout the entire project.
The entire project was delivered to specification (and with the challenge of constant last minute changes) whilst continuing to provide “business as usual” services without interruption.
